Texas Leica shoots Texas A&M

I'm not one either. SFA alum. I almost went, but we could not swing the cost back then. Used to go to their games when they played in the Cotton Bowl in the 70s (but not a bowl game).
 
I spent a year in A&M as an exchange student, had a great time. Still a big fan of the Aggies and will stay up late at night to watch the games here in Europe. Has been quite frustrating for the last 10 years due to laggy internet connections and terrible coach hires. Hopefully, there seems to be progress this year !

Probably originating from the US. Texas= big things. Big RF = Texas leica. Amusing.
I have researched about MF RF's and the texas leica is quite a nice option. Can't avoid reading this topics, heh.
 
I like to pair my GW 690 with my Ricoh GRDIII, as a counterbalance of BIG and tiny. (The GRD also works as a digital meter/Polaroid for those expensive unmetered 6x9 shots--about the same size as my Luna Pro S.)

But now that I have a Rollei 35S, I have its match-needle meter plus a FOV about the same as the Texas Leica. Plus they look a little more like family--Giant Grandpa + Baby Boy on an outing....
 
A native Texan and the son and brother of two Aggies, My wife and I attended UTA and our daughter went to UT in Austin for both BA and MA. I've never been to College Statrion, but when my brother was there I did go to a SMU/A&M game at the Cotton Bowl. It was great to sit in the end zone and watch the game, since my only previous experience was selling "COLD DRINKS!" up and down those aisles. Hook 'em Horns!

Yes, but there's a saying ---- "there are two kinds of folks, those who are Texans, and those who wish they were"!Also---"I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could".

These appear to describe John Wayne, because he pretended to be a Texan over and over in movies.

Seriously, concerning the Texas Leicas, ithey're a great group of cameras. I prefer the older interchangeable lens models, which can perform photographic tasks that most other medium format cameras cannot----fast AE lens shooting, close up portraits (with the Auto Up accessory lens), and rapid sports framing (with detachable metal rangefinder accessory).

Those abilities, coupled with the tank-like build and legendary dependability, make the Fujica 670/680/690 cameras spectacular tools for anyone lucky enough to own them.
