My M-E gives me best exposures outdoors ... if I'm using S16 and if I'm slightly off, it is not a big deal in PP. It works for color. For BW I have another technique with AE which works not only with digital Leica.
And I recently used S16 for slide film in my M4-2 (outdoors, ofcourse
).
Handheld meter is necessary for me in not so easy light conditions, but then Sun is on for two+ months in the row, it is easy with S16.
