It seems the flange around the rear element binds against somwthing inside the M8 when focused to infinity. Some people have been able to reach infinity focus, perhaps with a little gentle pressure, others not. Apparently one can resolve the issue by grinding the flange down -- assuming you know how to do such things ...sherm said:I read a note at Stephen Gandy's "camerquest site" that the Nokton must be retrofitted before use on the M8.
