the 90 is not working out...

this is a new concept for me...
ideally i'd like the 4 fujicrons and 2 bodies but i would miss the 60/2.4, the 18 and 27...waffling on the 14.

I currently have 5 Fuji bodies (X-Pro2, X-Pro3, X-E3, X100V, and X-H1) and 7 lenses (27, 35 1.4, 35 F2, 50, 56, 60, 16-80)...an all time high for me. However, I can only think of selling one body (X-Pro2) and one lens (60mm) and I want to add the GFX-50R and 50mm 3.5 whenever I can get back to the USA again... which may be next year at this point due to COVID. I used to think 3 bodies (at least one fixed lens) and a few lenses was my comfort point, but I'm ok with having more now.

my inventory looks like this...
2x xpro3 bodies
3x xe3 bodies
14-16-18-23-27-35-50-60-90-16>80

more than i really need...

Pardon the slight thread detour, but how do you gentlemen like the 16-80? Some online reviews note a bit of softness in the images.

It’s sufficient only. It’s a convenience zoom. A bit soft at 16 and 80. I use it still though... when I’m not sure what lens I’ll need or if I want to go long. However, if you want great IQ with a Fuji zoom you have to go for the 16-55mm 2.8.

care for an update?
I solved my major problem and bought a fuji xs10 with ibis and my pics are very nice and sharp again...before that I realized that some new meds had my blood sugar moving around while my system was trying to make sense of it all and I had some minor shakes...my hands are still not 100% but much better.

Good to hear that your physical condition is improving, and improving your steadiness. :)

It is inevitable, as we age, that our bodies and capabilities change. That said, and despite the many thousands of photos I've made hand-held at longish shutter times that were satisfying and worthy, best results have always come with a good, sturdy tripod, and at both ends of the scale from ultra-wide to telephoto .. regardless of shutter speed. It's only really right in the middle, near a normal lens focal length, that I feel I can can mostly do without a tripod if the goal is high detail and exacting sharpness.

So often, however, this is a senseless goal and the point of a photo has little to do with ultimate sharpness and detailing. Expression, emotion, feel are much more important most of the time. :D

Yes as life moves on with a few more aches and pains, I find myself reverting back to the old film days when a 21mm was considered a normal and 50mm was considered a short tele. Currently that is working out well for me. Best of luck on this.
