Leica also made a trapezoidal case for the M5 that is truly uglier than most people think the M5. I have one - what was I thinking? I'll see if I can post a picture.

The more Wayne, Bob and the others praise this camera, the more I get convinced to - at least - try it out. But my lenses are chrome and a M5 in chrome doesn´t look half as good as a black one - at least to my eyes. Good thing, it rescues me from being tempted ...

At last count my black lenses were outnumbered 2 to 1 by my chrome lenses. Bigfoot, Bubba and the film don't mind a bit.
