Thank you, Pan, it is on the day of the Gay Pride in Amsterdam. I was walking in the Central Station and I saw this woman. When I printed the shot, I saw that it was not a woman at all.

I like to use this lens at wide apertures to make landscapes. Conterintutivative, I know, but great fun. With the XT-1 it becomes a 200mm telephoto, isolating the subject and creating a Monet-like impressionistic swirl.
Sometimes the Sonnar name is used purely as a marketing term, i.e. in some of the modern wide-angle versions like the 35mm f/2.0 on the Sony RX1.
However, the true short-telephoto Sonnar lenses have such a unique rendering when shot wide open - especially in the rendering of out-of-focus highlights:
