Hi guy's... kinda new to the whole rangefinder thing, i have a Voigtlander Bessa R2A , which is awesome, i'm also thinking of getting an Epson Rd1s or an M8... so i have some questions about all the different mounts, namely Voigtlander, Leica and Canon?? I understand i need to make adjustments to the Canon 50/f0.95 lenses to let it fit on an m8? but what about the Epson or the R2A? i thought there was 1 leica theadmount and 1 leica bayonet mount? , what does Canon use? and are they different on the different lenses?

You're right, there are just 2 mounts in the leica RF world... LTM, and M.

Since it was so huge and heavy, the Canon 50/0.95 used a special bayonet mount that was only on the Canon 7 cameras (in addition to the LTM mount on those cameras). Many people modify the lens and add an M-mount so that it can be mounted on other M-mount cameras.

Other Canon RF lenses used the standard LTM.
