So this is Japanese Rock star Kyo from the band Dir en Grey.

Interesting composition and tonality. Hopefully he'll still be as happy with the tattoo in 50 years, as it's about 100 times more pain and trouble to remove.

I had a cat named Kyo, after the Buddhist chant Nam myoho renge kyo.
