First roll through the new F6, I am smitten.
I ran through many lenses, just to see the metering was picking up the lens entered as I have too many AI types for my own good and to see the Info screen faithfully reporting them, great fun.
Then some test shots.
55mm f3.5 Nikkor
55mm f3.5 Nikkor After all close ups are SLR territory.
50mm f1.8D Nikkor precision of focus point, usually a rapidly moving subject but just had an op for a swallowed obstruction and feeling rather sad, now improving.
Finally a shot at 500mm another SLR strength, on the Tamron 150-600mm zoom, just a tad softer at 600mm so 500mm used hand held with VR engaged. The Aerials are 6Km away, give or take a meter, and a tribute to the lens/film developer combination and the spot on infinity focus test.
All on Tri-X @400 (DX) matrix meter A mode Pyrocat HD 1:1:100 16min semi-stand V850 scan @ 2400 no further post other than crop of scan frame.

I'm beginning to like Pan F enough that it ought to take out a restraining order on me...

Just still learning the F6, had to tell it it was snow as my internal meter disagreed with the matrix.

Just to keep up to date I have been running through favourite glass, all lenses programmed in now, and enjoyed scrolling back through the data.
I am looking at one of those new USB "things" which I thought I wouldn't but it is handy.
Switched over to TD-201 developer again this @ 3mins A then 3mins B 75F.
24mm f2.8 AFD lens, I like the wide angle it gives without exaggerating or drawing attention to itself as a 21mm can do:
BTW picked up a grip as I was looking for using the EN-EL4 which I have for the D3 and planned on finding the correct door, as luck would have it the one that turned up wasn't the AA cradle but the rechargeable version so that suited me nicely.
