Nope. You can't make me. I'm not buying a Hasselblad. Not going to do it.
Y'all have fun.

One is never done....
One is never done....
That's what I told myself two Leicas and 3 4x5s ago.
I feel like entering a "No Gear Speak" phase. No more gear details with photos. Y'all will have to trust me if I post in The Hassy Posse.

It's all your fault...
It's all your fault...
You and Keith. Half way round the world. Putting up great photos. Making me get out more with my cameras. I'm just trying, in my own small way, to keep up. I still have a ways to go. The journey is fun!
Thanks! Cheers!

Wayne - your shots are getting better and better - I think you and the square format are a good fit! And I really like the presentation you've made with the Winnsborough photos - really well done! Cheers!

so how do you insert a photo into this thread without attaching it?

If it's hosted elsewhere, you place a
at the end. ^^^ Click the Picture icon in the header and paste the url in the window that pops up.

David,
I forgot an important instruction:
Place your mouse over the photo on another web page like Flikr. Right click. Select Properties from the bottom of the menu that pops up. In about the middle of the new window that pops up is the URL address for the photo. Use the left mouse and hold it down to highlight the address. Right click the mouse and copy. Go to the thread (this one works) and select Post Reply. On the row of icons above the body of the message is one for Insert Image. Click that. Paste your photo URL in the new window that opens. Be careful not to repeat http//.
The Photo address looks like this:
http://gallery.leica-users.org/d/172052-2/Door+001.jpg
You can also type the tags manually:
It's a lot easier to do than type about it after you get the mouse clicks memorized.

You're welcome. I'm sure my instructions were fractured.
Question for Hasselblad negative scanners: I see some of you are including the clear frame around the image. How does that affect exposure? Do you window the image, set exposure, then enlarge the window? Or set the window with the frame and then set exposure? Seems like the black & white points would be different.
I'm curious.

I set my own black and white points for each set of negs I scan, i also turn of any 'auto' exposure compensation etc. so if i include the frame border (purely for aesthetics) it doesn't effect the scan.
some new ones, trying out a ring flash on the 'blad:

That is what I had in mind. Window just the image. Set the sliders. Enlarge window to include the margin.
Thanks.
Thanks.
