Another from my Zorki 4 test roll. Jupiter-12 and Fuji print film. Note the light leak which I had on a few of the shots; I think it comes from the right side of the camera by the takeup spool. Other than that, the camera works well (the lens I already knew was a keeper!).

Thanks! I was positively surprised by the way this photo was rendered, not exceedingly sharp, but nice end to end 😎 The delta shaped bokeh is a bit odd though.

I think the characteristic odd triangular shaped oof is very well integrated here.
What was most surprising to is no weird distortion on one or two corners as is usual with this lens wide open and very sharp on top of that.

I don't use a hood on my LTM J-12...
but like the effect, it is a vintage lens after all. 😉
I have a J12 that occasionally shows flashes of brilliance but will flare badly usually at the edge of the picture. Doesn't matter which body it is on either.

I actually feel that J-12 flares nicely, with moderate contrast loss.

Oh man! I forgot about my J-12. That's a really bad thing. Even worse because I just loaded the IIIa to take to work each day for serendipity shots. Got a CV 35/2.5 on it now, but the J-12 is much more appropriate -- as shown by the images in this thread. I'll switch out lenses tonight.
I'll post results too. I'm trying to use up some of the C-41 accumulating in the fridge. Yes, you can't have too much film, but it takes up space and my wife complains when it overflows from my "fridge boxes". I'm too lazy to put the overflow in the garage freezer and I have an excuse to slip a roll into one of the cameras and shoot without any specific purpose in mind. I think a lot of people here understand that.
Anyway. I'm going to be shooting with a J-12. Its a good lens.

Thanks, actually I have two of them! My screw-mount lens is made by LZOS and the Kiev-mount lens is KMZ. But they're both 59----- serial numbers, less than a couple thousand apart. Quite the coincidence actually since they probably made millions of them over many years.
