Alas, I tried....but my camera shop isn't open on the 26th and they didn't have my film done on the 24th.
The day job precludes going any earlier than 12/29 and I'm still not too sure how close to done they will be with my film. C'est la vie.

Joe, Rover,
Is it possible to edit the poll? I made a mistake in naming option #6.
I should have typed:
Picture #6
Would you mind making the change, please please?

Nzeeman, you're right about the picture #9 but there's a reason: the link to the picture exceeds 100 characters. I can't do anything about that
Any moderator in this forum can help us about option#6 ?
PS: I gathered the submitted picture in post #2

Jon, I like this shot, and think it should have been your entry for the "Magic Roll." I would like to see a little more of the fire extinguisher. A slightly different angle, or some cropping might emphasize it more.
I also liked your photo with the Christmas tree, non-alcoholic beer and guy reading the paper.

Thank you. I broke the rule about one photo, and so had to choose which one enter into the Magic Roll Poll today.

I went to see about getting roll developed and they had a sign stating no 1 hour processing til further notice.
I guess they wanted to focus on selling all their little digi cameras. So bummed out I left. Guess I coulda gone somewhere else to develop but the last time I did I got home and the cd was blank. So I swore that place off. Maybe next month.
Good luck to all the participants.

Technically, you didn't break any rule Jon since you finally submitted only one picture. I would have broken the rule if I had allowed you to submit more than one picture.
Thanks Jon for your supportive activity

Les pellicules magique (or is it magie?)
Les pellicules magique (or is it magie?)
I hope to compete for les rouleaux des pellicules magique in the future, but unfortunately did not make the cutoff this time.
I need to streamline my processing. I develop B&W myself, and that's fairly quick, but I don't have a good scanner. And I poked around in available free software for a function to transform negative to positive-- no luck. It takes me a while to find the time to print any B&W myself.
For color, I go to the nearest drugstore, so that's quick enough.
Lately I've been shooting more B&W.
So anyhoo, I might need more lead time to prepare a submission. But I applaud your "image"-initive efforts.

Thanks Crawdiddy
I fully appreciate this issue (several members, Barry blw, jbf pointed out that problem of deadline submission too). I'm aware I gave short notice for submission this month.
Nzeeman suggested a very good idea that could be the solution - I support it at least:
What do you think, guys?

This way we'll have enough time to shoot for the theme and to submit pictures.the winner of the month chooses the theme for the session after the next contest: for instance, the winner of January contest chooses theme for March, February winner for April and so on.
What do you think, guys?
