Leica M4/Mandler 35mm lens wide-open. Kodak Double-X in HC-110B.

Hood - I use a Leitz 12585H. Works great. Doesn't interfere with the VF.

I have tried the Leitz IROOA hood too. Also works, but slightly higher profile than the 12585H.

Unfortunately, I dropped my 12585 of a bridge into a fast running river in Montana years ago.

The blockage was observed with Barnack cameras....not M cameras.
12585 12504 hoods work flawlessly with M cams.
