That would be a cool idea. To take one book and pass it around and have everyone sign it. However, there would be a huge fight to see how gets to keep it 🙂

We could send 25 copies out. 😛

Seriously, If anyone would like to send me their copy, I will sign it and send it back.
Trust me ~ ; - )

Maybe we can send 25 sheets of paper around that can be signed by all the photogs. Once all have signed the sheets can be send to each photog individualy and be used as an insert to the book.

The next book can perhaps reserve a page where the signatures of all particpants are already printed?

printed signatures are a nice touch, but don't have the same significance.. I'm a bit of a bibliophile, and I collect signed first editions of books

I would seriously consider sending my own copy (I just ordered one yesterday) to each photog if they would sign it and send it back to me.. I'd cover all shipping charges, of course

This is also a nice idea! RML.
That sheet may be a print/copy of the book cover image. Then we sign on its back.

So I passed my copy of _the book_ around at my local photo club meeting today and got lots of very nice feedback. They were amazed enough by the quality of the photographs, text and the overall production (layout, design, cover art), but they were really floored when I explained the lulu concept of on-demand printing - and how this was the print quality you could expect for a mere 22$ US.

I think lulu is going to be getting a lot of new business as a results of RFF's book, as copies of it filter out to other photo clubs.

I just talked to my local library about them ordering a copy of the book. They cannot order one because their "distributor" doesn't carry it (whatever that means) but they are willing to accept a donated copy for their extensive photography section. I'd donate a copy but my funds are low right now... If anyone wants to donate a copy to the Oak Park, Illinois Public Libary, here's the info
http://www.oppl.org/index.htm

I'd guess that most public libraries would also accept donated copies, FWIW.

I'm going to have to order more books. Not knowing what level of quality to expect, I only ordered 2, one for myself and one for my parents. Now that I've seen how good they are, I will order more, including one for my library. Thank you again to everyone who made this possible!

It's here! Today I received the book. Paid for on March 2; shipped March 5. Does the Belgian post hold the record?
Congratulations to all the participants. It looks great. Realy great!

My copy arrived yesterday in Australia. Very impressed with the layout and the quality. Inspired by the philosophy and approach to photography of the artists. Bewdy mate - it's grouse!

Oprah; Letterman; any other (local) well-viewd, high-rated talk show....

BTW, did I already tell you guys I got published again? 😛
Well, I did get published again... in a Mongolian cultural and literary magazine called GUNU.
10 of my photos ended up being used in the magazine. My brother-in-law is the magazine's founder and owner. It's good to have connections. 🙂
