Nikon F3 hp There are some exceptional fine lenses made by Nikon and Zeiss for this camera. It is also very sturdy and well designed. If you wanted an SLR to back up an M6 this would be my choice. And, like the M6 batteries are simple and abundant.

Some of us can probably recall the standard 1960/70's PJ outfit consisting of two or three Leica M's with wide angle lenses and a Nikon F with a telephoto.
