Great photos Kuuan! and it's only from Takumar lenses, man..you have my respect!
Thanks for sharing, now i'm going to my garage to look for my Cosmicar 28mm 2.8 lens (a Pentax made lens)
Tapeimetro thank you. I hope and I take it you mean "only" in the sense of "exclusively"
😉 Get your Cosmicar!
These all are from +/- 10 years ago. I was using pretty much exclusively Takumars on Pentax dSLR then, in one or the other forum was called Takumar and/ or Pentax fanboy.
I had wanted to use old manual lenses, the S-M-C Takumar f1.4/50 got me hooked on Takumars. For a dSLR, for being small, well handling, powerful but cheap Pentax, at least to me, was the obvious choice.
Once the smaller mirrorless cameras came up I switched and to mostly using smaller lenses they allow for. First Pen-F halfframe lenses, later RF, mostly Cosina Voigtlaender for wide angles and Canon LTM for others.
Regarding optical performance, rather than an objective gain it brought interesting variety, regarding handling, besides the advantage of being smaller that I wanted and appreciate, I rather lost.
Takumars are very good lenses.
