Can someone explain the Pentax 67 bayonet/screw filter situation? I have a 105mm/2.4 which has a bayonet mount lens cap. Does that mean I can only use bayonet mount filters? Or would a screw thread filter in 67mm also work?

You may want to check with Photon42 over on the Pentax 67 Gas! thread. He used a screw-in close focus filter on his 105/2.4.
While the bayonet Pentax filters are convenient, if you have them, standard screw-in filters fit and work fine. Can someone explain the Pentax 67 bayonet/screw filter situation? Yes Nick, your last three on Portra are lovely. I really enjoy your work, even with crappy Takumars (which I also personally adore).
