I am really sorry, I'll take the photos out.

Don't do that, I like 'em.

I'm also in touch with some people who could sort him out for you .. a Chinese Burn and a Wedgie are among the punishments I believe they can hand out.

I think they accept payment in XP2, Tri-X or 120 Provia.

I thought the high contrast made for a grabbing graphic image. Maybe not in the spirit of trad 'street' photography (after all, it wasn't a wonky, out of focus shot of a woman's arse), but a nice image nonetheless.

The cows are amusing.

Mick, that has to be a first for me...a Parrot in a pullover. Ace.

Thanks! The cows is one I quite like, just because it was pure luck. Hope the little 'un is getting on well after being the star of the show during our potter around London:D

He's doing pretty well, and growing (though he's still tiny). But, frankly, I'm disappointed he didn't take any decent pictures on the Photoday. :D

A reply! A wee bit late though...

rwintle, I wasn't familiar with the VF101, so I just searched online. Dinky little thing, isn't it? How does it work out with that ultra-short rangefinder?

Oh, ***, sorry I missed your question previously... it really is tiny and I love it. I like the slightly wider lens (40mm; most of mine are 45mm fixed-lens). Focus is bright and easy, and its aperture-priority mode is dead simple to use - needle indicator of shutter speed in the VF.

Overall I like it - good ergonomics, tiny size. Heavier than I'd expected though.

There's a lot packed into that little package. Since i felt that the only thing letting down the Minox or the Rollei was the lack of a rangefinder, I find myself very attracted to tiny RFs. I think my ECR is the smallest. It's approx 111x76x49mm, and has a 42mm f2.8. I prefer a bit wider myself, but I like the 42mm on my SP, so I'm happy.

Thanks for your answer. Worth the wait.

Some great shots on this thread.

@Simon/OMIT:I was waiting for you to post that hand pressed against the window shot - one of my favourites.

@Lynnb: that umbrella shot with the two old men at the front is great.

@Helen 'Working on the gas line' is so cool.

@MickH: thats the best dressed bird I've ever seen :)

@airfrogusmc: some good work on this thread!
