Ahh, my RF645 is a good friend.

Why limit yourself to one medium? That's just ludicrous thinking.

You seem to be a bit "feisty" tonight. And, BTW, If you truly believe what you say - why do you have an Avatar? Didn't you have to go and mess about with pixels on a computer screen to upload it?
I prefer film in most instances because I am an "photographic amatuer enthusiast". But I cannot be such an ostrich as to ignore new technologies altogether. So I do have some digital gear and do use it in certain instances.
Enjoy film. Cherish it. Use it exclusively if you so desire. But cut the rest of us a little slack that maybe we're not all as "puristic" as you.
Peace.
Andy K said:And on the other hand, why buy into a medium that has to be 'upgraded' at the manufacturer'r whim every couple of years or so? A medium which has obsolescence as it's core value? A medium which in a few years time will be rife with proprietory formats and corporate control over YOUR images, especially with people like Sony entering the digital camera market.

ywenz said:LOL, So you're a "somehwhat" nerd since I see some digitized images in your gallery..
Andy K said:Change the record, that's the same tired old argument spouted by all who have succumbed to digital.
copake_ham said:Hey Andy, I think you are absolutely right.
You should "stick with film".
Wasn't that the point of your thread?
Everyone, let's all agree....
ANDY SHOULD "STICK WITH FILM" !!
BTW: I believe it's about 1:30 AM over there in the UK - time perhaps for some "downtime"? 😉
ywenz said:Ha! but you do admit that it is a stout argument pointing out the hypocrisy in your statements.
Stop spewing stupid crap, then maybe we'll start to actually take in what you're saying.
ywenz said:Since you don't want any corporations to get involved in your images, are you going to build your own lens using your own glass, and create your own special blend of AndyK 400 film? LOL !
Andy K said:I find your tone needlessly aggressive.
I have argued the point, while you choose to spout insults.
