Thinking of selling my G2 kit.

I recently bought a black G2 kit with the 28, 45 and 90. After 15 quick rolls of color film, transparancies, and BW, I can say I am super impressed. In my job, I travel all the time and this camera has been so much better than lugging my nikon gear.

I have found a black 35-70 zoom for about $500 that I am thinking of buying for my G2. I have gotten very used to good nikon zooms and have gotten away from thinking they are crap like 15 years ago. Does anyone have experience with the zoom on the G2? Obviously it would be for on the go P&S photography.

I really love my G2, but it just sits in a camera bag in the closet.

Why's that? If you're not using it get rid of it. That said, I'll be buried with mine.

It's such a great performer. I don't know what to do.

Will the RD-1 make YOU a better photographer? What is it about the RD-1 that will make you shoot more or better than the G2 does?

Or is this just a GAS attack? 😀
