Thinking to sell

HI, I´n not shure if this post is Ok here, but I don´t where to put it, and this is for me the best forum in his class.

Well I have a Noctilux 50 1.2, and I´n thinking to put on sell because I didn´t use to much, but I´m not shure about the price I can ask, the lens is in good contition but I dont have the lens hood.

Can please tell me where and for how much I can sell this lens?

You could try the new CamerGas site that advertises here. That seems alot less anonymous than eBay, but it doesn't have critical mass yet, since it just started this week.

The 50mm Noctilux is more of a collector's item these days. It is Leitz' Aspheric Super-speed lens from the 70s. It was replaced by the non-spheric 50 F1.0.

According to the 1976 Pop Photo test of 32 "normal" lenses, the performance was either the best of all lenses or worst of all lenses depending on where in the image you were. Center-Best; 1/3 out- Worst; 2/3 out-best, far edge- worst.

They sell for a few thousand US Dollars. You would be best to post it for sell on a site that you have history with. I would not sell such a valuable item until you get a positive feedback score either here or on EBay. ONline, It will sell for thousands less as people will be reluctant to deal with you.

A good alternative is to sell it through a major used camera store on consignment. It is well worth the 25% or so fee to bring in top dollar.

Tony Rose will take on consignment for you at Popflash for only 20%. I would jump on that or try CameraGAS.
