Now to be fair, Amazon is known to post different prices to different users for whatever reason. I wouldn't be surprised if B&N plays a similar game. I've never used B&N online, as I used to shop Borders when I wanted to handle the books and Amazon if I knew exactly what I wanted and was willing to wait the few days for a cheaper price.
Grousing about Barnes & Noble, Amazon, other purveyors of books.
Has anybody considered the source... the publisher who is not providing inventory to fill orders??? Perhaps far too conservative on weighing the demand in the market. After all, it's an extremely high priced book. I would also not have anticipated a strong demand. Perhaps the first run was 100 books??? anyone know?
