Hello, does anyone know, or can look up for me, the size of the thread on the lens head of a 1950 9cm F4 Elmar? I would use it on a Novoflex bellows with M39 mount and need to know what to do to adapt it. I think the Leica adapter 16472 is the correct part to mount it on a Visoflex, and I've read that the Novoflex LEIEL ring can also work. If the thread is 32.5x0.5mm, there is an adapter made by Schneider for its enlarging lenses that may also work. Thanks for your help!

I have a 90mm Elmar lens head which came with a similar-purpose adapter. The set was described as an 'enlarger' lens, but actually turned out to be just a lens optic block removed from its barrel. In the place of the barrel was a Kilar (?) adapter which took the Elmar 90 lens block on one end and a standard M39 thread on the other.

One curious feature this Kilar adapter has is that the lens mount has a short helicoid which allowed the lens to move for fine focusing.

I will take a photograph of this adapter once I find it again, and post it here.
