Hi everybody.
Today I was cleaning my camera closet and I found a few things I don´t need anymore. So I tought christmas is coming soon and I want to give those things to someone who wants or needs them.
The first thing is a Kodak Retinette with its leather bag. It´s not really a beauty but it works and although I think the long times (1/4, 1/2, 1 sec.) are a little too long it´s a user camera. The lens seems to be clean.

The other two are Olympus bodies. An OM2 and an OM2n. Both are non-working and I bought them once becaues I thought I would need them for parts. But I didn´t. On both of them some of the bottom covers are missing and one doesn´t have a backdoor but if anyone wants to repair them or use them for spare parts, you´re welcome. GONE

I live in germany. I would ship them worldwide. The only thing I ask you for is to pay postage.

I forgot about the holiday giveaways on RFF. Perhaps we should start a new thread for the annual giveaway.

Okay, maybe a moderator could rename this thread ore integrate it in an "official" christmas giveaways thread.

The two OM bodies are gone, the Retinette still waits for a new home.

For those interested in lomography I have Elikon 535 to give away. It seems to be working fine (I have not tested with film, but different shutter speed/aperture combinations sounds about right). Free shipping in EU.

You are right. When I have the time I will have to look at my stuff. Hopefully I have something.

The title of the thread doesn't say Christmas Giveaway.

If this is the christmas giveaway thread, we should probably change the title
I'll take a look at what I've got. If I remember correctly, I have a Thumbs Up for the M8/M9, and a few film point and shoots that aren't being used right now. I'll update with a set list soon.

Or maybe just start a new thread with a different title.

Oh boy these are great giveaways.. I have a well shaped 35mm film camera so I don't need the kodak but I would love to have it..
i am sure there is more needy people on here that would be even more happier to have one than me.

The wedding set on my Flickr (see link in sig) were taken with a Retinette like the one above, with the Reomar lens - there are certainly far worse cameras out there (though the photographer wasn't up to much!). There's plenty of advice and instructions online if anyone wants to fiddle with the shutter as well - though the rear element may not shift without a decent tool. I ended up giving mine the dreaded flush treatment.
Go on, you know you want to!
