EDIT: Pics have now been posted further down in the post.
Today i was making my weekly rounds at the local thrift stores and I came across a few beat up old cameras, nothing special though. Then I just happened to be wandering around in the back of Goodwill and decided I would sift through the old P+S to see if there was anything good. One camera in particular stood out to me, and I knew that I may have just struck gold.
The camera I found:
I paid $6.99 for the camera and $12 for a battery. It works perfectly, although it clearly has been dropped and has a small ding. Other than that, it is in great shape.

Very nice find! I gave up on the Goodwills around here as they seemed very good at filtering games to their online site. The only decent one I found that slipped through was a Cosina CX2. I'm surprised that one slipped through!
Nice find!

Ha ha, I'm pretty happy myself. Thrift store hunting does yield treasures, but one must be very patient.

Wow, that is quite a deal. I have found a lot of great stuff at thrift stores, but so far this one takes the cake. The only thing that comes close is getting a Leica M2 and Elamar 50mm f/2.8 in fantastic shape for $550 on eBay. That and maybe picking up a Minolta Auto 360PX for $1 at Value Village.

Now that is what I call a find. You are 100% right when you say you must be very patient and you got duly rewarded for it. Yea, lets see some photos from it.

That kind of makes the Canon A35F that I bought yesterday for $4 look like a booger.

Nice find indeed!
Just loaded film into my thrift-store found Yashica Minister II (EUR 5.00). Wanna have a thrift store shoot-out?

My best photo bargain at a thrift shop/fair was a $50 Yashica mat 124G, but it has a dead meter and needed cleaning (it was filthy). Not so much of a bargain as my 10 euro dark brown leather trenchcoat, by far my best deal ever!

Hm, is there any film still available? Probably people throw this things away because they don't take SD cards
