Pls see Tim Isaac's Thumbs Up "TU for Leica M8" - shown below on my Leica's at Tuulikki and my Flickr.
Tim was very kind and sent me the both versions of his "TU for M8" so I am pleased to post pictures of "TU's" on my other Leica's on our FLICKR

Uhmm what is Thumbs Up for ? looking at the picture I cant figure it out. Prevent you using the winder and use Leicavit instead ?

Actually, there's a small issue with the TU on an M7. It works, but doesn't quite lay flat because of the location of the sync socket. Tim is working on a modification.
