Tri-X in Rodinal 1+50
Update: Developed my first Tri-X in many years using Rodinal 1+50, 13 mins. with very careful agitation (5-10 sec per minute) using only the agitation stick with my old Paterson tank.
The negatives look great! The film is still drying - I'll post some photos later.
This was my first b/w film in many years. I guess I'll now have to get a nice wide angle for my S2. It's so much fun to shoot and develop film again. It's magic!

Your timing sounds almost same as my own. I have shot Kodak Tri-X 400TX film at 320 or 400ASA and developed it in Rodinal 1+50, 20C or 21C, 13min. Gentle agitation first minute continuous and after that once every 30 sec.
But currently I have used D-76 with Tri-X more than Rodinal. One tasty sample here:

and two interior shots (with a vintage W-Nikkor 3.5cm/1.8 for Nikon RF cameras) here:

By the way, I prefer Rodinal with Agfa APX100 or Rollei Retro 100. That combo is great!

That combination is, indeed, magic, Juri. I've posted it before here, but this is APX100, Rodinal 1:100 20C, 20 min; 30 sec initial agitation, 3 inversions every 5 minutes thereafter. Yellow-green filter used on an Olympus 35SP.jsuominen said:Y
