Hi, all:

I've been browsing the forums for a while & can't find an answer to one of my questions about the GSN. It's my first RF (I love it), and it takes great photos (battery and indicator lights and all are working) -- but the shutter speed on the self-timer doesn't seem to change.

My guess is that, on the timer, it defaults to 1/500, but I can't find a reference in the manual.

Anybody have any experience with this?

Strange...the self-timer on all my Electros work (if not sticky) with
all speeds. Could it be the pad of death again?

I was hoping no one would say "pad of death"!

I don't know, though. It's fine in every other way and doesn't make any noise. Perhaps I'll send it to Atlanta . . .

Just got it back from Mark Hama today. Wowee wow wow. It sounds very different, winding, the viewfinder is all spic and span, and the light seals are new. It took great pictures before; I can't wait to see what it does now.

And now, just at the end of the second roll, no juice. New battery: nothing. Both batteries tested fine. I really prefer not to mail this back to Mark Hama (only because I'm a little lazy) -- any easy things to check? It just stopped working suddenly . . .

Talked to Mark Hama, yesterday. He said he can't find anything wrong with the camera, and that it's working fine there. He put a new battery in it for me and wouldn't hear of my paying for its return shipping. "Send more cameras," he said. I like the guy.
