This supermarket car park is always full! So seeing it on the one day of the year when it's empty gave me the feeling of the place being abandoned.

Indeed there is, there was also a man there with a camera. As with the sky enhancing the scale of your jail, I saw this guy riding around and realized that when he passed through the frame he emphasized the amount of space that existed in what is always literally a mass of people!

Anyone who lives in this city will more than likely know what this central city supermarket is usually like, it also emphasizes how photographs can often relate better to the people of the place than those who are distant from it.
