The GQ is such a great truck - I learned to drive in my dads 2.8 diesel GQ. He always wished he got the 4.2 instead - the 2.8 couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding!

My Aussie made Mitsubishi 380 v6. Love this car. I drove to this location to take some photos with my M2 and Nokton 50 1.5, the film is expired fuji sensia basic lab scan. Oh, and I did try my hand at fishing as well but no luck 🙂

They do seem to make very sensible cars for the conditions here. I've thought about getting something smaller, maybe a small station wagon, but I'm pretty attached to my ute I admit.
It gets me to some great shooting locations in the valleys behind Brisbane and I figure the least I can do is include it in the shots where I can. 😀

I agree, I don't think you can get any more Aussie than this, Ford ute, obligatory hat, big open space...maybe it would be little bit more authentic if there were couple of kangaroos in the background and if Keith had a XXXX stubbie (or whatever beer they drink up north in Brisvegas) in his hand...😀

Too right. You wouldn't believe the places we made the Corolla we hired in Namibia, go. The underside was polished clean when we gave it back.

I have a Ford Fiesta only a 1.25 but as long as you don't increase the weight it will p**s a long.

The white one was a 2.8 - not bad. The 4.2 (with turbo, intercooler and auto gearbox) is a whole different beast! 🙂

This one has been with us for 10 years now. I've had one of these things since 1979. It becomes a habit, a bit like owning an LTM Leica...
