I'm looking for a darkroom open to the public (free or rental) in Tokyo to develop some film at the end of a trip. Hopefully without the extra requirement of membership
I found this place http://www.placem.com/darkroom_en.html but it seems they only do printing

I am a registered alien..
I know of one in Yokohama, not directly in Tokyo.
But still good located at Sakuragicho Stn on the Keihin-Tohoku-Line/Negishi-Line
Check out the website at http://thedarkroom-int.com/

I know a place that would potentially put you up for a fee - it's in Western Tokyo (Musashi sakai) though. Chemicals could also be provided.
I am not affiliated so all I can do is ask if you'd be interested.
You could also just buy a 1liter D76 powder and do it in your hotel / hostel. Bring a small changing bag and a tank.

Thanks Ben, I'm looking to travel as lightly as I can so for now I'm excluding the option of carrying my own developing gear. I would be interested in knowing the details, maybe perhaps talk over a beer in Tokyo ?

Or we go for beers twice, first time I give you all the required gear for developing and 2nd time you bring them back, not sure how much time you have. I'd be happy to set you up with the tools / chems for the few rolls you need developed.
Ben
Frankly, I'd do it in my hotel room, like in the good old times.
