I've been using mine for work and private, most often charing in-camera. I don't shoot a lot of frames but never thought the camera warming up, even when I'm transferring bunch of full size photos to my phone. I'll be shooting some videos this week for work so we'll see what that does.

My X-E3 is a black one btw. 😉

I'm at 376 shots in just under a week that I've had mine and not a hint of warming. I tend not to machine gun but I'll shoot three or four shots in succession fairly quickly. Mine is silver Joe, maybe that's the answer.

That would be nice.
When they get another batch in they said i could trade the silver for black...maybe i’ll keep it...who knows?

So...i played with the silver one today...set up the menu...maybe an hour’s worth of playtime...
And the damn thing heated up, both the battery and the back screen!!!
Tomorrow i’ll use a regular battery...not the new ‘s’ version and see what happens.
