Hi folks,
I took a few test pics with my "new" Canonet 28 that I stole from G'man. Anyway, here is the only one worth posting. I used some strange Polaroid 200 film that I slightly overexposed.

All in all, I am very satisfied with this camera. Thanks, G'man! 😀

Nice work, I can blame a $7 + shipping Canonet 28 on getting started with rangefinders actually. It's a great simple little camera, with a great simple little lens, enjoy!

Hi airds,
You mean something more like this?

With the original I was trying to play around with not having my subject at the center. Something about a 1/3 rule I read somewhere...?

Ah - rules are made to be broken 🙂

It's definately more striking - these slanting shadows are something to work with again. And what about converting to mono?

Don't forget to put them both in your rangefinderforum gallery now ....

monochrome? I wouldn't know where/ how to start. Guess I got some researching to do...🙂

If you can crop, you can convert to mono.

There is usually an option in your graphics program - similar too:-

Image> Colour Mode >and save the file as Grayscale

- but remember to give it a new name

There will be more info. in the program's help section.

Thanks, pixman. I have a few more of her and this particular set on my gallery if you'd wish to see more. I'm glad you like it. *45 degree bow*

It seems like so long ago that I posted this thread, but it's only been a little more than a month....

Why not post the entire roll of film and let us see how the Canonet did. I usually post an entire roll so that more information is given. Nice photo. by the way.
