It's what the M8 should have been, never mind that .2 nonsense! I'm almost tempted to sell my M8 and buy another one but hey variety is the spice of life.

Congrats on your recent acquisition and merry Xmas to you too. Hope that you can help me with a few questions. I do not own the M8 and have only tried it for a short while - too short to form an opinion.

Based on your experience so far how do the viewfinders compare in brightness and ease of use and how easy is the M8 to focus compared to the Epson? I find the RD1(s) much easier to focus than my Xpan for instance - would love to hear how it compares to the M8.

I'm shooting with them both today. The M8 with the new framelines especially is noticabley brighter. Focusing for me is the same. Ease of use so far is the M8, only because I've owned it for years.
