In my point of view I bought a Minolta SR-T 101 body only (I did not need lens) 2 month ago for the price of 20 dollars US. I could have bought a Minolta XG 9 for 40 US dollars with kit 50mm/1.7( I already have one for years) or Minolta X300 body for 18 US Dollars. Kiev and Zorki are at prices around 40 us dollars . In the range of 70 dollars I could have bought Canon A 1 or Practica, Exacta with nice lenses.

I own four and am unrepentant about it.
I built a Miranda system for just a tad over $100. Miranda D SLR, 35mm, 50mm, and 105mm lenses, and waist level interchangeable finder.

So far as SLRs go it is quite beautiful IMO. Certainly there are more modern SLRs that can be had for just about as cheap though.
I also recommend the Petri 7S, if the meter is working. The Petri 2.8/45 lens is remarkably sharp, and the camera looks cool to boot.

Easily my 3 favourite cameras under $100:
-Olympus OM-1. Smaller than my M3, superb viewfinder, and a meter to boot! The OM-2 is just as good if you want AE.
-Olympus XA. I take this one everywhere, definitely one of the most discreet cameras ever made. Easy to zone focus, but has an RF when you need it. The clamshell cover is perfect for pockets.
-Nikon F2. I was lucky enough to find a lovely black-brassed one with a 50mm Nikkor-H and working photomic head for $50 a little while ago. It's an absolute tank of a camera, I wouldn't be afraid to take it to hell and back. I ended up giving it to a friend who's more invested in Nikon than I am, but it gave me some great shots while I had it.
Honourable mentions go to the Canon AE-1/AE-1P, which are great deals and where I got my start in film shooting, the Olympus Stylus Epic, and any working FSU RF you can find for under $100.

Pentax S1a. I've bought three (one black), each for around £50. Or a Spotmatic if you hunt around a bit. The Takumar lenses are very good, both mechanically and optically, at least the all-metal 50's I have seen and used.

I think it is very personal, but three of my personal favourites for less then €100,-:
Minolta XD5/7
Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 7
Canon EOS 50e (Elan IIe)
And outside of competition, as it is more the €100,-, the wonderful Minolta Dynax 9. The best camera I've handled!!
