Traveling with RFs?

I'll be going on a trip to Vancouver in a bit, and I've decided to take a Leica iiia, Olympus XA and possibly a Pentax Spotmeter V [though I can use the XA for metering.] My main concern is the RFs going out of alignment. I'll be traveling by plane and car. It would be great to have some tips on how to prevent this, especially with the vibrations in the plane. If you have any other tips about traveling with RF cameras, they would also be useful.

I have traveled all over the world with an RF. Keep in a good bag or case during travel. no problems.

So vibrations won't be a problem? I heard I need to keep the cameras on my lap in the plane to minimize vibrations.

I have just covered 7,700 km in a 1972 Land Rover with four RF cameras (two each for my wife and me). No problem. Over the last 30 years I must have covered hundreds of thousands of km by car, motorcycle, plane, bus, boat, train... Almost always carrying RFs. Don't worry about it. The only vibration-induced problems I have had have been with Hasselblad (back unscrewed) and Vivitar 200/3 Series 1 (internal group partially unscrewed) -- both on single-cylinder motorcycles, which are about as hostile an environment as you can get as a mode of transport for cameras. Thanks a lot Roger, I'm glad that I don't have to worry about the RFs. I'm considering getting a motorcycle instead of a car for trips[100KM+], while using my singlespeed bike for in city riding.
