Try this Colour Test

I scored zero also... a little surprising for aged male eyes. I'd think computer monitor calibration wouldn't be particularly important for this test, as it's a comparative matter as Sine said. FWIW, calibrated 27" iMac, introduced Dec 09.
It's comparative so in that sense it doesn't matter too much. For an accurate analysis of your weak areas (if any) it would need to be calibrated though, I'd say.

Zero for me.. perfect. Woohoo!

Although, as a graphic designer, I deal with color every day, so maybe I have an advantage?

Distinctly possible, I worked for quite a few years in the automotive paint business and still notice the poor matches. It's pretty common for bumper/body parts not to match perfectly but "joe public" doesn't notice unless it's quite bad. I also spot repair jobs pretty easily, even when they're done to a high standard.

I scored 4 on an old Apple Cinema Display, half-heartedly self-calibrated, but with obvious color issues. 'I have' 42 years.

I'm also a graphic designer. I definitely need a new monitor, but i've been waiting years for Apple to update its 30". I guess i need to turn to NEC....

Girlfriend did ridiculously well on this using my MacBook Pro. I did poorly but am color blind so the whole screen just looked blank ;)
