Does anyone have access to the German magazine 'Photodeal', issue IV from 2004? Apparently there is an article on Zeiss Ikonta/Super Ikonta cameras by Bernd K. Otto. I don't know what information the article includes, but I am hoping it might possibly help me to discover the unreadable serial number letter prefix of my 1950s 532/16 and the year it was made. The serial number numerals are 89828, the lens is an 80mm Opton 2.8 Tessar no. 1000058, and the Synchro-Compur shutter serial is 7341297.

Thanks for the links. According to the 'Lens Collector's Vade Mecum' the lens could be 1953. There's a list of Compur serials (which I know to be unreliable) that could indicate 1951.
Though I would like to be able to get a reasonably accurate dating, really I'm more interested in finding out what the serial prefix could be. I've previously posted the question in the Zeiss Ikon Collectors Group and didn't get the answer there.
