Two lenses

Hmm,
I do occasionally carry just a 21 and a 90. But if you take the 21, you'll then need the VF--if you're rationing to keep the amount of bit and pieces down, then I guess I would suggest 35 and 90.

I did have M6, 35 + 75 for 2 weeks in Tanzania plus SLR/super tele ...
Worked out really well. I am now thinking to try one lens only,
for the first time. Will be the 40/1.4 for my flight to Taipei tonight
(if the Typhoon allows ...)

I think it depends on the speed of those lenses. What are you planning to shoot? Low light? I travel every week with a 28mm f2.8 ELmarit and 90mm elmar c. Just picked up a Jupiter 3 50mm f1.5 for low light situations @ $60. We'll see how that goes. They really don't take up that much room.
 
I would take the 50 and the 21. The 50 would be on the camera, most likely, 99% of the time. The 21 just in case I get an urge for landscape.
 
I would normally take the 25 and 50, but as Tom A. pointed out, the 21 CV is so pocketable, that you could take 21,35 and 75 instead.

id instantly take the 35 and the 21.
35 covers the 50 and the longer ones if you crop in and blow up, and the 21 covers everything below the 35.

Until recently I took a 28 and a 15 everywhere with me, now I have a 35 the 28 will be replaced with the 35. But Ill still take the 15.

If it was me - I'd take 25mm and 50mm.
Several reasons: 50mm is just so useful FL that I just don't see myself not taking it. Plus it looks like it's one of your fastest lenses, so for low light - it would be very good. It's also a Summicron, so will deliver best results. 25mm - need to have a wide and I think 35mm is a bit too close to 50mm.
I'd even take 90 as well if it's not too heavy - not sure which one you have. But for some shots 90 is very nice. I could never get into 75mm - either too long, so I'd use 50 or too short - I'd use 90. But it seems that several people like this FL. 21mm might just be a bit too wide - I used to have it and traded for 25mm, which I find much more useful.

On pur focal length, 25 + 75, but accy finders are not high on my list and the 75mm frames never worked for me, so...

35 +90 - but I'd add the 21 as well to round things out at minimal extra cost in weight/bulk
