UK Service for Fujica GS645

This is frustrating: I know there's at least one camera repair shop that specialises in servicing Fujica medium-format cameras; I spoken with them over the phone about three months ago and I'm pretty sure I found them by searching RFF. For the life of me, though, I can't remember the name or contact number of said company and can't find the details again - even Google laughs in my face.

So - does anyone know of someone in the UK who will service a Fujica GS645?

I'd be surprised if Newton Ellis can't help. They're doing my Mamiya 6 soon and sorted my C330.

John - could be. I honestly don't remember. Pete - I thought of Newton Ellis as well, but was looking for Fuji specialists. In any case I'll give them both a call and see what they can do.

in Germany.

I highly recommend him, he is the man for Fuji in Germany and has the spare parts in stock.

Excellent. I have a faulty GS645S, which was a gift from a friend, it'd be good to find somewhere to get it working properly.

I sent mine to Sendean cameras . It turned into a long running saga and resulted in me having a different camera ! Still it works better than the original but I had to set rf myself after returning 5 times . Whatever you don't send it there .

RubyMonkey, John's right I think , these are the guys I used to repair a circuit board failure on my GA645 and I seem to remember they have a big stock of spare parts bought from Fuji UK when they stopped repairing film cameras so they're a good place to start even if they weren't the people you spoke to before.
