Update (Pics): Roadtrip, Memphis to New Orleans via Hwy 61

You guys were such a big help when I was planning this trip, and I wanted to share some photos. I used my M2 and M4-P, either 50mm or 35mm lenses, and New Portra 160 (which is seriously awesome) and New Portra 400 (which is almost as awesome as the new 160). Ha. Nokton 50mm f/1.5 and Nokton 35mm f/1.4 MC. There may be a few with M-Hexanon 50mm f/2, but mostly the Nokton--it's sharper.

Yes. Yes it is.
I was a bit worried beforehand because I hadn't given the New 160 a test run at all--actually, my first pics of New Orleans were on the test roll. I ordered 10 rolls blind.

I ended up metering in at box speed. I also meter for highlights. (I point the dome of my ambient meter directly at the light source, as opposed to trying to point it back at the camera--works much better--no blown highlights. This runs a bit contrary to conventional knowledge, but I can nail exposures now.)

Really beautiful shots here. My wife and I just traveled out west for our honeymoon and she took some New Portra 400 for her 645AF and ended up with beautiful results.
I'm getting ready to order some of both in 35mm format for myself...

The work you have here is stunning. I just love the warmth and intimacy in a lot of them. Very, very nice set.
