Using flash on a Nikon RF camera

A while ago member Cherrysoul aske me via PM how to use an Electronic flash on a Nikon RF camera,sorry for the late reply but here it goes.
First you need a hotshoe-adapter:

Next, slide the adapter on top of the camera shoe and connect the Synch cable:

ooops, I put it on backwards!!

Slide the flash on,set to AUTO and Viola:

The SB-15 looks and balances better than the SB-28DX but hey, I am at work and din't have much with me.
Hey who needs a flash?
Personally I like 800 ISO with f1.1 and f1.8 lenses!

Good info. Sometimes the flash contacts on the older cameras are not reliable -- 50-year-old wiring and all that.

Ahhh, you mean one of these, but the box says for Speedlight SB-9

It took me a good two months to "Win" this sc-10 on ebay and I had to pay an arm and a leg!!:bang:

I wasn't about to let the fellow RFFers go tru the same pain and make it even harder for Nikon collectors...:angel:

Its worth it. Fits much better with the shorter cord and looks, well more KIU.

Hmmm.. why not just get a cord that can plug into the PC terminal on the flash head? I'm missing something.

That would work too unless the flash head doesn't have a PC terminal...

Silly me, I just use an old Vivitar 192 and a long PC extension cord. Could use the Vivitar 283 remote sensor on camera and the short PC extension cord from there to the plug too.
