Vietnam

Beautiful, fantastic shots. The scooter shot is my favorite, but seriously, the color stuff is great too. I could look at these all day (and maybe I will!)

I've been dying to go to vietnam, but we always seem to end up somewhere else each year. We need to go there.

Thank you so much for the compliments. Vietnam, like many places is changing so quickly you owe it to yourself to get there as soon as you can and to experience as much of the way it is now before it's gone forever.
 
Many nice shots! Love the chicken sentry shot.

I didn't enjoyed Halong bay and Hanoi as much, but certainly like Hue for it's rustic charms.

Benny I didn't hate Hanoi, but it's not my favorite place in Vietnam and Ha Long is awful. It's worse in ever measurable way from 4 years ago. It even takes longer to drive there because of all of the traffic.
 
More fantastic shots, I like the bicycle one a lot. It really captures what Vietnam felt like to me. The same applies for the bottom one, a mix of the old and new.
 
Fantastic work.
Most are just waay good and beyond.
Glad to see some shots are like tourist shots I would make.

I spent 7 1/2 years in Korea, but the only place I ate dog was during my last 6 months of 4 yeas in Viet Nam, after being transferred to Da Nang. It just wasn't something I craved for. There was a cyclo driver who was originally from the North of Viet Nam. He found out I had eaten dog once and from then on, when he ate dog, I ate dog. It would have been very impolite to have done otherwise in the circumstances.

I am really enjoying your photographs. Thanks for posting.
 
Hanoi - 10/10/10 - 1000th anniversary of the City's birth. Celebrations start 1/10/10 and promises to be 10 days of party, concerts, street parades, carnivals etc etc.

I'll be there!

Have fun, at the moment everything in Hanoi is leaping towards being completed in time for the celebration. It's pretty wild.
