Does anyone know of a suitable magnifier for any of the Fed/Zorki rangefinders? I don't think I've ever heard of an "official" one being made by FED/KMZ and the like, but the Fed 5 viewfinder seems to have an internal thread of some kind, which made me wonder.
Or maybe one of the ones designed for the Leica M series can be made to fit? I don't have the money to buy an M3 to compare the two myself, unfortunately.

There is a recent post on this forum about someone who had an adapter made for his Contax 11a to take a leica diopter or magnifier. It would be simple machining - a small tube with the Fed thread at one end and the leica one at the other. No optics needed internally.

Sorry to disappoint you but what appear to be a thread is just internal milling to make it less reflective, I'm fairly sure it's not actually a thread in there...but the Fed 5 viewfinder seems to have an internal thread of some kind...
