Picked up a Konica II last week off the bay and found some old b & w film in both the little metal kodak film canisters . Here are some examples.

The camera came from an estate sale according to the seller , she was located in Fredericksburg Virginia. If there are any USMC guys out there from the 50's maybe you can help ID this local.

In one of the pictures there is a license plate on the car, it is a virginia tag 1956 .

In one of the military photos , one with the flag on the hill; the little white rock spell out USMC and there is a big wooden # 3 if that means something ? . This is before my time, is this in Virginia? (training camp or someplace else )

Guy on right in last image appears in two others. Guy with him looks the same as one in front of ambulance.

Not sure if guy in front of the white car with women is same as one on the right.

Might have been his camera as he appears in 3-4 images

I was able to track down the grand daughter of the couple in the photo by the car .

The photo is of Ralph and Martha who met each other years before in front of a candy store in Front Royal Virginia.

I will have more info later.

Those are neat old photos, I tried to read the license with 'Cadillac Girl' but couldn't come up with anything. Looked like California or North or South Carolina. Something long. The landscape looks like a pretty arid area. Like we have in the West, but the obviously new housing does not look like the west.

The photos are in surprisingly good condition considering oh old they are... Unless this was already developed rolls.

Anyway. The Camera itself looks like it was bought yesterday... Wow.

Thanks John, it is a Virginia plate 1956.
