From series I took for my wife for Mothers Day (she is a very keen seamstress). Both with the Micro-Nikkor 55/3.5 on an FE (thanks to jmilkins) on FP4 in R09.

As a bit of an aside I have an early AF version of the 180mm f2.8 which I enjoy greatly although it's form factor is a bit difficult being very long and skinny. Never the less, having ED glass it produces lovely images and has butter soft bokeh. I succumbed to GAS and also bought an early non ED, AI converted model. In the hand I prefer it as it is somewhat fatter. It has quite a long throw which makes it slow to use but accurate. Its image is not quite so crisp as later models but it is never the less a lovely lens and we'll worth owning. This focal length Nikkor really are superb.

Stiff upper lip...
Yay, my first post!
Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 K w/ Portra 400. I recently got this lens AI'd with a factory kit that, amazingly, a local camera repair store had in stock. Only cost me 30€ or about $40, including the work!

Nikkor 28mm f/2 AI w/ Delta 3200. Love the lens, but its just a bit too wide for me for a walk around lens.

Nikkor 35mm f/2.8 K, or the semi rare 6/6 design, w/ 400TX. My solution to the 28mm being a touch too wide. Just got this lens and have only shot half a roll with it, but I think its a keeper

In 1974 I got my first serious camera kit: the Nikon F and 50mm 1.4 Nikkor Auto-S Lens. Still have them both. Since then I have added more "modern" Nikon lenses: 28/2 Ais, 105/2.5 Ais. What a kit!

Fantastic pics from these lenses, keep them coming, and interesting the hear the stories around them too!
Here's a less heralded Nikkor, the 20cm f4 Q. Has a "special" character in its bokeh.

The first two with Df. The last one was Fuji Pro 400H loaded in the F4E.
