Has anybody tried this combo? If so how well does it work?

Thinking about getting a Canon 7 and would like to use my Telyt's 200mm and 400mm on it..

Be aware that Visoflex I is incompatible with II/III, so you need the proper (prewar) lenses. Telyt 400mm, as an example, can mean 400/5 prewar, 400/5 postwar, or the later 400/5.6 and 400/6.8 telescopics. Only the first, I believe, will work with Viso I.

Other than lens selection, you should have success. I always wanted to use that 45° prism finder (PEGOO), but it's not available in the II/III system.

The Visoflex 1 does in fact work fine with post war Telyt lens. Both of mine (200mm f/4 and 400mm f/5) are post war versions and work fine with my viso1. The main difference between the 1 2 and 3 is the 2 and 3 need to have the oubio between lens and viso body..

Thanks for the correction! I now read that Visoflex II was released in1960 - much later than I presumed. That means Viso I had extensive use after the war. Your Viso I Telyt lenses have maximum utility with all Viso versions. My one Telyt is a late 280/4.8 with M mount, so OUBIO isn't needed (and Viso I is impossible).
