I'd say it's neither. I enjoy my Vitessa A no more or less than my other cameras, but I do love the rendering of the Ultron lens. Your Skopar seems to make nice images, too.

I remember mine eliciting all sorts of comments. Some of my shipmates called it my periscope camera. I also remember taking some decent slides with it, so the meter was good, and I never had an issue with the plunger. What I don't remember was whether it had the Color-Skopar, or the Ultron. But then there are a lot of things from the seventies I don't recall (or I block out).
You're doing good with yours, Von.

I'd say the plunger is a pain, in that in my first foray into the Vitessa line a stripped gear or similar problem caused an otherwise immaculate camera to become useless, as 75% of the time it would not advance the film. Repair is supposedly very difficult and expensive if available for these cameras...
When working these cameras are superb compact users, but very heavy, which makes pocketing them challenging.

The plunger on my Vitessa T turned out to be the undoing of this otherwise excellent camera, as the film would no longer advance, and to do the repair was more costly than the camera was worth. Pity, as I loved the lenses and the slides they made.

These last photos look like Austin, TX? Stone houses and places to eat and drink.

I have a T with 3 lenses. I don’t use it much, sadly.
