Word here is the dollar is due to sink again. 4 years ago the Dollar to chinese Yuan was 8.4 yuan to one dollar, now its 7:1, word is at the end of the year its going to be 6.3:1. Makes sense that things would be going up in price.

Zeiss prices have increased by 5 to 10% in Hong Kong on the 1st of April (and no this is not a joke!) so I can imagine CV will do the same.

The yuan has always been artificially held down in value vs. the dollar. The change recently has been government policy since the yuan does not "float" and is not actively traded on the international currency markets.
