About the performance, not the weight? Which would be better?
Comparing three lenses:
Nokton 35mm F1.2
Nokton Classic 35mm F1.4 MC
Ultron 35mm F1.7

Question 1:
35/1.2 shooting at F1.4 compared to 35/1.4, which would be better?

2nd Question:
35/1.4 shooting at F1.7 better than 35/1.7?

I'm soon to have both of these:

Nokton Classic 35mm F1.4 MC
Ultron 35mm F1.7

I'm hoping the Nokton performs like my 50/2 Heliar Classic. I love the Ultron, but a sharp and compact fast lens was just too promising to pass up.

Don't have to new 1.4 Nokton, but I do have Ultron and Nokton 1.2. Ultron is very very good. Nokton 1.2 is superb. I have never used a better 35mm lens than Nokton 35/1.2.

Personally I don't like the Skopar for two reasons:
1. The build quality is not as good as the other Voigtlander lenses. For example the aperture ring moves too easily.
2. It's too contrasty for my taste (I only shoot b&w).
Yes, the Nokton is wonderful but a bit too big for everyday shooting.
